Our March-April 2017 eBulletin highlighted that since late 2016 the Department of Immigration and Border Protection have been sending letters to people seeking asylum requesting health examinations as part of the legacy caseload processing. Read more HERE
These letters stipulate that the health requests are to be completed at a Bupa Visa Medical Centre, however the Department of Immigration and Border protection will accept previous test results. Previous test results must be provided using the spreadsheet provided by DIBP. There is updated information about these health requests on the Royal Children’s Hospital Immigrant health clinic website. This includes a link to the spreadsheet and information about where to send it. Click HERE to read more and access the spreadsheet (this information is halfway down the page).
