This is a report from a Rural Forum Hosted by the Victorian Refugee Health Network. The aim of the forum was to bring together service providers to discuss service development to respond to the health and wellbeing needs of people of a refugee background in rural areas. The discussion provided an opportunity to:
- identify issues of common concern
- to share experiences and resources
- consider collectively what might assist rural services to be able to better respond to the needs of people of a refugee background, that can then be acted upon with the support of the Victorian Refugee Health Network.
