St Vincent’s Health Australia, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, the Ecumenical Migration Centre and the Brotherhood of St Laurence, has published a major study on the health and wellbeing of asylum seekers living in the community. The report details the findings of the 2012 scoping study which aimed to explore the health care needs of asylum seekers in community detention and the impact of the precarious community detention context on their health outcomes.
