This study focused on how refugee youth access, interpret and implement sexual health information. The study built on the Good Starts Study For Refugee Youth project which identified the need to improve health literacy, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health. The study was carried out by the La Trobe Refugee Research Centre, the Centre for Multicultural Youth, and Footscray Youth Housing Group. The project began in May 2007 and was completed in late 2008.
