InTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence works with women & children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) who are victims/survivors of domestic violence. The service has a pool of bi-lingual and bi-cultural workers who provide support, information and referral to women and children escaping domestic violence. It also provides support and advocacy to women, including assisting women with housing and Centrelink, providing information about the refuges and other accommodation and women’s legal rights in Australia. InTouch workers also accompany women to legal appointments or court and other settings as required.
