Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals – Promotional videos

The Victorian Refugee Health Network has produced animation videos to promote the Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals in twelve languages including Arabic, Assyrian, Burmese, Dari, Dinka, English, Hakha Chin, Karen, Rohingya, Swahili, Tamil and Urdu.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals

 

Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals are free services that support Victorians aged 26 and over to access mental health and wellbeing care close to home. These services are designed to be easy to access and are located in your community.

  • No Medicare, visa, or GP referral needed
  • Visit for a chat, call, or access through outreach support
  • A wide range of support options available – including peer workers, psychologists, allied health professionals and more

New promotional animation

The Victorian Refugee Health Network has partnered with Foundation House, Mind Australia, Wellways, Neami National and cohealth to produce a set of multilingual animation videos to promote the Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals. These resources are designed to be accessible to all Victorians, with a particular focus on supporting people from refugee and asylum seeker communities.

Health and community service sectors can use these videos to promote the Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals. Clients and communities can also share the resources through their community networks, including social media channels.

The videos are available in twelve languages including Arabic, Assyrian, Burmese, Dari, Dinka, English, Hakha Chin, Karen, Rohingya, Swahili, Tamil and Urdu and can be viewed below or accessed via YouTube.
