Ika has experience working in refugee health service provision in regional and rural contexts. She is a recognised diversity, equity and inclusion practitioner and a passionate advocate for meaningfully including lived experience in strategic decision-making. Previously, she has worked in forced migration research and public policy in The Netherlands, USA and Australia. She currently works as a researcher at Melbourne Centre for Cities at The University of Melbourne.
