Rebecca Eckard is the Director of Policy and Research at the Refugee Council of Australia, the national peak body for people from refugee, humanitarian, and asylum-seeking backgrounds, and the organisations and individuals who support them.

Rebecca convenes policy and advocacy networks, drafts submissions and gives testimony for Parliamentary inquiries, and delivers information and education sessions on Australia’s asylum and refugee policies. Rebecca regularly participates in representative work on behalf of RCOA, both in Australia and internationally.
